The ethics of hearing the patient’s opinion

The Ethics Committee in Social Intervention of Saint John of God was created in 2009 to address ethical demands, develop guidelines, analyze situations and offer reflections to our society. It is made up of people dedicated to this aim and who work in the field of social exclusion, legal protection and guardianship, disability, labour integration, immigration or homelessness. The Ethics Committee is a consultative and independent commission of interdisciplinary nature, whose purpose is to advise professionals, collaborators and relatives of San Juan de Dios and related institutions in the field of social interventions and care for people in situations of dependency.
